Time & Location

Wedding location and times have been finalized. Invitations will be sent out in early August.

Ceremony

The wedding ceremony will begin at 3:00 p.m., Saturday September 23, 2017.

Reception

The wedding reception will be held at Warwick Bethel in the family lounge the same day. It is an approximately 20 minute scenic drive from the Kingdom Hall to Warwick Bethel. Unfortunately, only invited guests may attend due to limited space. Visitors should identify themselves at the front gate and that they are there to attend a function in the family lounge. You may park in the visitor parking garage, and enter the main lobby. A Bethelite will be available to escort you to the lounge. When you leave the lounge area, please have a Bethelite escort you back to the main lobby.

Hors d'oeuvres and drinks will be served at 4:30 p.m. The sit down portion of the meal will begin at 5:15 p.m. The reception is scheduled to conclude at 9:30 p.m.

For those requiring transportation by train, the final NJTRANSIT train to New York City leaves the Tuxedo train station at 9:57 p.m. It is an approximately 15 minute drive from Warwick Bethel to Tuxedo station. If you need a ride to the station please let us know.

Gifting

If anyone wishes to gift us on our happy day, we've registered at Amazon. That way there's only one list and it's probably more convenient than going to a specific store. Since we still don't know where we are going to end up the list is still a work in progress. But Ecclesiastes 10:19 provides this advice, "Bread is made for laughter, and wine makes life enjoyable; but money answers every need."

Engagement Photos

The amazingly talented Samantha Christensen agreed to follow us around DUMBO in the summer heat to do an engagement photo session for us. No amount of sun, tourists or garbage men would distract us from our mission to make googly eyes in public places.

The Proposal

On April 30th 2017, I cunningly lured Sue out to the end of Pier 15 in New York City after service. 

I started to preach to one of my friends that I had planted. Sue was suspicious, but my presentation was good enough for her to believe it for about 30 seconds. Really, that's the best I can hope for to surprise her... But when I pull out the custom "Family Happiness" with our pictures in it that I had made the proposal is on!
